Houston Community College System (HCCS) is a community college system that operates community colleges in Houston. The Houston Community College also operates in Missouri City and Stafford (Texas). The Houston Community College serves Bellaire, Southside Place, and West University Place. All of the Houston
Independent School District area is part of the Community College Houston taxation area.
Houston Community College is the third largest community college system in the United States.
The Houston Community College system plans to add the Spring Branch, North Forest, and Alief areas of Houston as well as the villages (Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village, Hilshire Village, Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point Village, and Spring Valley) and Katy to its areas of service.
Houston Community College Central College in Midtown Houston is served by a METRORail station.
